Beginning to think that the view count on this blog is screwed and skewed.  Last night's posting got over one hundred hits in an hour, from one country, with one combination of computer and operating system … that sort of thing just does not happen naturally.  This is my four hundredth post.  I thought maybe I would do another review post.  I also thought it would be the next one, after the funeral.  But I have a bit of time right now waiting for the car rental to go through.  

The last time I did this was April 2014.  I had 5000 views and 300 posts.  So now I have 400 posts, if you include this one, and over 8000 views.  Little weird.  I would think as the number of posts increased, the greater number of views a month would occur but not this much.  The graph they show is all peaks and valleys too.  Most of the peaks I assume is some lonely/obsessive soul pounding back a hundred posts in one sitting, or if it happens in the space of a few seconds, some government agency determining that I am a threat to their security and they are doing a word count.  How many times I write bomb or kill or hate.  Oops I just upped my count. 

My most popular, by views, yesterday was stuff written back in 2012 or 2013.  Today it was something I wrote yesterday and I will never know the one that got bumped off the list.  But who knows, maybe the title was mainstream enough that it would have bumped it of anyways.

Those are the stats.  PolyGirl commented to me that I pay a lot of attention to the stats.  It is true a page of numbers is almost as captivating to me as a page of text.
